Otoplasty for children and adults
People who have protruding or oversized ears can elect to have cosmetic surgery done to make their ears appear smaller. Otoplasty or ear pinning, is a common procedure for children. Many patients who receive the procedure are between 4 and 14 years old, however it is also a common procedure for adults.
Those with cupped or shell ears can receive the surgery to improve the appearance of their ears, as can those who have deformed earlobes from piercings. Ears that have received damage through sporting activities or other injuries are also good candidates for the procedure. Contact our office to find out if you are a suitable candidate for surgery.
