The upper eye lid surgery involves the separation of the skin from the subcutaneous layer of the eye. Excess fat is removed and sagging skin and muscle is trimmed. The under eye blepharoplasty surgery involves the lifting and gently tensioning of the skin, after the initial incision, and removing the excess skin. Both variations of eye lift surgery are closed with very find sutures along the eyes natural lines and creases.
