Many people have achieved their desired outcomes with IPL which has boosted their self-esteem, confidence, appearance and comfort levels.
IPL Hair removal
IPL hair removal is a very effective procedure if you are concerned about unwanted body hair. This permanent hair removal treatment is very cost effective, especially when compared to other treatment types, many of which are not permanent and incur ongoing costs. The other benefits of IPL permanent hair removal include:
- No need for repeated treatments
- No more waxing
- No more shaving
- No more depilatory creams
IPL hair removal treatments will not only save you time it will also save you money, and if you feel your unwanted hair has caused psychological problems and low self-esteem then you can say good bye to those too.
IPL HAIR REMOVAL PROCESS
The IPL hair removal process is non-invasive, sage and removes your unwanted hair without damaging the skins delicate pores or structure. The IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) combines with lasers and works by heating the hair and hair follicles so that they absorb light energy and are destroyed. Consider a black t-shirt on a hot day – it absorbs the light and makes you hotter quicker, whilst someone wearing a white t-shirt doesn’t heat up as quickly because the white reflects the light – the IPL hair removal process is similar. The lighter the skin the better the treatment will work. Talk to our consultants if you require any further information about this.

IPL PIGMENTATION REMOVAL & VASCULAR LESIONS REMOVAL
Not only can IPL treatments permanently remove unwanted hair but is can also correct a variety of benign skin complaints and imperfections such as small veins, spider veins, rosacea, signs of aging and more.
The process involved in IPL Pigmentation removal involves pulses of intense light being directed onto the affected skin site. The skins melanin in the pigmentation lesions, e.g. age, sun or liver spots, will then absorb the light (again think of the way a darker t-shirt absorbs more light and heat than a white one). The absorption then breaks down the pigmentation.
With patients who suffer from rosacea and broken capillaries the pulsed light weakens the vessels walls and heat the hemoglobin which causes it to collapse and disappear from the skin.
IPL PHOTO REJUVENATION
IPL Photo Rejuvenation treatment is specially designed to reverse the effects of photo aging by prompting the skin to self-heal by creating new cells and collagen production. Photo aging is induced by chronic exposure to the suns UVA and UVB and can cause premature aging, wrinkles and sun spots. IPL Photo Rejuvenation can improve the tone and texture of the skin, refine and refresh the skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. IPL Photo Rejuvenation patients notice their skin is firmer and redness is reduced.
