The Treatment That Does It All

Light Stim- Light Therapy

When it comes to skin treatments in a clinical environment, not all procedures need to be painful to work well. Our daily routines can cause stress which can affect our skin in many ways and sometimes you just need to be rejuvenated. Light therapy is an ideal way to achieve that relaxed and revitalized feeling that also has some great benefits for the body.
Light therapy is an LED light that is non-invasive, has no damaging effects of harsh UV rays and shows fast and effective results. Light Stim works to stimulate collagen, is anti-ageing and has qualities that relieve pain and can accelerate healing. The treatment also benefits the body by increasing blood circulation and oxygenation, as well as minimising pores and wrinkles.

For clients with uneven skin tone, Light Stim helps to visibly improve the tone of the skin and overall complexion. It is recommended to undergo multiple sessions for optimum results, usually a minimum of 4. The treatment lasts for 20 minutes, beginning with the therapist performing a light cleanse, after which you will relax under the light. Aftercare consists of applying an SPF to the skin and then you’re all set to go.

Light Stim can be used in conjunction with other treatments such as:

  • Surgery
  • Laser/IPL
  • Injectables
  • Microneedling
  • Diminishes bruising and swelling
